Mr. Nicholas Scott Mullis, age 27, of Silver Creek, Georgia, was called home to his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, where he was joyfully reunited with his beloved wife, Jhaylan Alona Redwine-Mullis, in their eternal home. Nick’s passing has left a profound void in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who knew him, but they find comfort in knowing that he is now rejoicing in the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Nick was born in Rome, Georgia, on July 21, 1998, to Mr. Michael Scott Mullis and Mrs. Stacey Ann Bristol Mullis. He was a bright and compassionate young man who touched many lives through his kind spirit and generous heart. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jhaylan, who was the love of his life, along with his paternal grandparents, Linda J. and Dr. Kenneth L. Mullis, and his great-grandmother, Martha Ann Haney.
A proud graduate of Model High School in 2016, Nick earned honors and was known for his intelligence, dedication, and work ethic. He furthered his technical skills by completing his Electrical Line Worker Certification at Georgia Northwestern Technical College. Over the past five years, Nick worked diligently as an electrical line worker, most recently employed by DLC Utility Group, displaying his strength, skill, and commitment to serving others through his work.
Nick was a true jack-of-all-trades, always eager to lend a helping hand and capable of fixing anything he set his mind to. Whether carpentry, automotive repairs, or other projects, he was proficient and passionate about working with his hands. His calling in life, however, was to serve others. Nick’s selfless nature was evident in his constant willingness to help anyone in need, often dropping what he was doing to lend aid. His love for the outdoors was another significant part of his life—fishing, kayaking, hunting, or simply being in God’s creation brought him happiness and peace.
Nick’s earthly journey was tragically short, but his legacy of kindness, faith, and love will live on. Survivors include his parents, Stacey and Michael Mullis of Silver Creek; his brother, Lucas Lamar Mullis; his grandmother, Sheri Leigh Baker; his aunt, Rachel Lynn Boyd; uncle, Dr. Daniel Mullis (Jennifer); and numerous cousins and extended family members whom he loved dearly. His beloved animals—Bandit, Scooby, Dolph, Dalley, and Earl—were also a cherished part of his life.
Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, May 1, 2026, in the Chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, with Rev. Joey Motes officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until the service begins. Honorary pallbearers, including Dawson Cornett, Haden Rolling, Lane Pettis, Nick Fox, Chase Turpin, Casey Peace, Carson Eldridge, and Devin Cook, are asked to assemble by 5:30 p.m. at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home.
Nick Mullis’s life was one of service, love, and faith. Though he left this world far too soon, his spirit and legacy will continue to inspire all who knew him.
