Max Charles Voichahoske, 21, of Fullerton, peacefully entered his eternal home on Sunday, April 26, 2026, leaving behind a loving family, a close-knit community, and countless friends who cherished his kindness and lively spirit. Though his time here was brief, Max’s life was meaningful, characterized by hard work, devotion, and a deep love for the land and those around him.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, with burial to follow at St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive visitors during a visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 29, at the church, with a rosary service scheduled for 7 p.m. Palmer-Santin Funeral Home is assisting the family during this difficult time.
Born on July 30, 2004, in Albion, Max was the son of Charles “Chuck” and Heidi (Wagner) Voichahoske. From a young age, he was baptized and confirmed in the Catholic faith, which remained a guiding foundation throughout his life. Growing up in Fullerton, Max attended Fullerton Public Schools, graduating in 2023. Throughout his high school years, he was an active participant in track, FFA, and F Club, and was especially recognized for his dedication and skill on the football field, where his determination and teamwork shone brightly.
After high school, Max pursued higher education at Northeast Community College in Norfolk, earning an associate degree in agriculture in May 2025. His passion for farming and the outdoors was evident early on, and he eagerly returned home to work alongside his family. Farming was more than just a profession for Max; it was a way of life he embraced wholeheartedly, demonstrating pride, dedication, and an exceptional work ethic. He also worked part-time at the Fullerton Livestock Market, strengthening his ties to the agricultural community he loved.
Max’s appreciation for nature and rural life was deep. He took great joy in building and caring for his cattle herd, hunting deer, and spending quality time outdoors with friends—creating memories filled with laughter and camaraderie. His loyal dog, Daisy, was a constant companion, sharing in his adventures and will be missed dearly.
He is survived by his parents, Chuck and Heidi Voichahoske; his sister, Macy Voichahoske; and his grandparents, Charlie and Alyce Wagner. Max is also remembered by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will continue to cherish his memory. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bernard and Eleanor Voichahoske, and his uncle, Al Ihnen.
Max’s kind heart, strong work ethic, and love for life left an indelible mark on everyone he met. His legacy of faith, love, and dedication will continue to inspire those who knew him, and his memory will live on as a beacon of kindness and resilience.
