Bronson E. Allman, 39, of Ellwood City, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital following a tragic car accident. His sudden departure has left family, friends, and the community devastated, as they mourn the loss of a kind-hearted, vibrant soul whose life touched many.
Born on December 9, 1986, Bronson was the beloved son of Bernard Dillaman and the late Annette Marie Allman. A lifelong resident of Ellwood City, Bronson was known for his warm personality, infectious smile, and big heart. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 2005, where he was an active and talented football player. His love for sports continued at Slippery Rock University (SRU), where he earned a degree in Sports Management, reflecting his lifelong passion for athletics and competition.
Bronson worked at Woodforest Bank in Chippewa, where he was appreciated for his friendly and approachable nature. But beyond his professional life, Bronson’s true passion was sports. An avid and knowledgeable sports enthusiast, he loved NASCAR, racing, football, golf, WWE, baseball, and hockey. His enthusiasm for sports extended to the rink, where he played roller hockey as a goalie for many teams over the years. Most recently, he was tending goal for his championship-winning team, Team Goose, at Stiefel Park, where he brought energy and leadership to every game.
In addition to his love of sports, Bronson enjoyed attending comic conventions and meet-and-greet events, often recognized by local sports legends and fans alike. He was also known for his karaoke nights, trivia challenges, and his infectious laughter. Spending quality time with friends and family was what he cherished most, and he had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel like they were old friends.
Bronson was a gentle giant with a big heart, always ready to cheer for others and lift their spirits. He had a knack for making strangers feel welcome and loved, and his presence brought joy to everyone he met. He is survived by his father, Bernard Dillaman; his brother, Nelson (Candice) Allman of Bradford; his nephew, Jaxxon Allman; nieces Elliana and Aaliyah Allman; uncle Hank Allman of New Castle; and many close friends who will forever cherish his memory.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects on Saturday, May 2, from 2 to 6 pm at Marshall Funeral Home, 200 Fountain Ave., Ellwood City. In honor of Bronson’s vibrant spirit, attendees are asked to wear their favorite jersey. After visiting hours, everyone is encouraged to continue celebrating Bronson’s life at the Ellwood City Saxon Club, 901 Millview St., where friends and family will gather to share stories and remember a truly remarkable man whose life made a difference.
